The SCP:SL Saga is the saga taking place between February of 2018 and August 2019. This period marks Unigamia's largest growth (going from ~100 members to 3000+ members) in the course of two years and marks the beginning of the Unigamia's New Guard.

Precursor

Age of Admins

The Age of Admins

The Age of Admins began with the start of the SCP:SL servers in February of 2018. The first admin, Jeannaute, had PatPeter host four servers.

  • Unigamia #1 [FF] (Friendly Fire)
  • Unigamia #2 [ERP] (Event Roleplay)
  • Unigamia #3 [RP] (Roleplay)
  • Unigamia #4 [MEMES] (Non-Serious Gameplay)

These four servers would lay the foundation and framework for the community and sovereignty to grow. It's unknown if it was PatPeter or Jeannaute who sent the request, but Unigamia was one of the first approved community servers on SCP:SL. During this time, several more admins would be added to the community such as BooBooBear, Arby, 11 Corgis on a Computer, Wilson, Benjamin, and Knitler. While these folks were the star of the show to common folk, there were several minor moderators who would become important as time went on.

When PatPeter decided to splinter the Admin's powers (on the account that the infant moderator team lacked a real command structure), several new moderator teams were formed. These original four teams were ran by admins (and in the case of Gamma, one of the moderators) under a new rank, Supermoderator. In July of 2018, this set of changes were enacted and several admins left like Arby or stepped away from SCP:SL like BooBooBear.

The first team, Jean's Team, would consist of Holyknight NCRHUNTER, Hi, My Name is Ana!, Hyper, and SkotKeller. This team would later be re-named to Alpha Team and Jean would resign as Supermoderator and Hi, My Name is Ana! was given control over the team as the first post-admin Supermoderator. The early Alpha Team's role was more in usage on ERP and MEMES.

The second team, Corgi's Team, consisted of The Cure, Sgt. Lee, and AWOOOOOO. This team would later be re-named to Beta Team. Corgi would remain mostly inactive while carefully guiding his supermoderators. In fact, Corgi would not step away until March of 2019 with LostInMyThoughts replacing him as the leader of Beta Team.

The third and final team, Budda Kream's team, would consist of Knitler, Wilson, and Benjamin. This team would later be re-named to Gamma Team. The original Gamma Team mission was to be a place of "retirement" for older moderators who didn't wish to leave the team, but would not be readily available as the new moderators. Because of this, Gamma's times would be dramatically lower than the other teams, but receive special exceptions until July of 2019 when Budda Kream resigned and was replaced by Sexually Aggressive Starfish.

You would also see the rise of several waves of trials, with the first known wave consisting of Budorj, LostInMyThoughts, Blameproject, Pothead and Kevin. Interestingly, two moderators, Craz and The Cure, never received a trial announcement but became trials during this time.

In addition, two major server changes would happen.

  • Unigamia #1 [FF] became Unigamia #1 [BREACH]
  • Unigamia #5 [WAR] and Unigamia #6 [NOFF] were added.

This is the ending point of the Age of Admins, while the Admin system was effective, there wasn't a clear hierarchy and the fact a trial could learn two different things from two different Admins could lead to potential problems in the future. As such, the Team system was put in place and the first teams were truly born.

The Golden Age of Secret Labs

Servers

As stated in the Age of Admins, the servers had increased to six full sized servers. Despite having six servers, 5+6 would fall underneath a constant cycle of re-naming, rule changing and different types of servers. The single largest issues was that these servers were more seasonal and didn't have a particular interest group. Breach/FF were designed for people who wanted to play the game for the sake of gameplay, ERP was for moderators to host events, spicing up on gameplay with interesting concepts, game modes, and so on.

The issue of server 5/6 is that they never had a proper reason. The original 5/6 were named [WAR] and [NOFF]. War would spawn originally with 2 D-Class, 1 Scientist and the rest would be Chaos Insurgency or Nine Tailed Foxes. The rate of spawn was nearly a minute per wave, leading to constant warfare between the two forces. Meanwhile, NOFF was the first and only No Friendly Fire server. This would be extremely unpopular because the majority of players chose Unigamia because it had Friendly Fire Enabled. It was a matter of weeks before [NOFF] turned into a new server, [ESCAPE]. This new #6 [ESCAPE] would be similar to [WAR] where 10 D-Class, 5 Scientists, and 5 SCPs spawn at the start. There was not a respawn timer on this server, as the game was designed for quick, short rounds.

After these servers failed, two more servers would replaced them [BLITZ] and [DUBS]. [BLITZ] was a faster, more rushed version of War with a 30 second respawn timer and rounds lasting between 5-7 minutes. [DUBS]'s gimmick was that there could be two of any SCP on the server. [DUBS] had a player cap of 40, as opposed to the 20/25 other servers had, so you could have up to 8 SCPS. This server was popular, but had to be shutdown due to the fact that two SCP-079's would completely ruin the game.

Around that same time, server #7 and #8 appeared. #8 was often known as [EXP] as it was a server for Pat and the Moderators to test plugins, work on code, and for mod's to test their abilities. There was also a short-lived #7 known as [COMEDY] that ended after too many moderators ended up fighting each other and ruining Comedy night.

Teams

In the early days of Unigamia, Moderator Teams consisted of 2-4 people at a time. This meant that any massive wave would justify the existence of a new team, and as such, two new teams would be formed. Not in quick succession of each other, but Sigma Team (also known as Ligma Team, and later as Delta Team) would be formed under the leadership of SkotKeller. Additionally, during the month of November 2019, another team would be formed known as Epsilon Team underneath long-time moderator Craz.

At that same time, SkotKeller would be replaced by Roartex and be placed on the Minecraft sovereignty.

New Moderator Waves

After the formation of Sigma Team, new moderators would vote on new trials that had sponsors rather than PatPeter selecting them himself. In this time, the first and only mini-wave would occur with Sentinel Blue, Roartex, and SirBlookey // Dabble being unanimously chosen. These means of waves would be later noted to be highly ineffective as future, larger waves could not be easily voted upon.

This first mega-wave was a massive deal for the growing Moderator Team. It represented a challenge for the hierarchy to deal with, mainly that Trials had very few permissions and Moderators could access all permissions. This, in turn, resulted in a brand new moderator rank known as the Sub-Mod. This sub-mod rank would eventually be renamed to Junior Moderator. This first Mega-Wave would consist of TheBlade, Captain Autismo, GodEmperorCommunazi, Ducky, Janitor, and someone whose name was lost to history. The most interesting note is that the performance of TheBlade and Captain Autismo was so goddamn spectacular that they were instantly promoted to Senior Moderator instead of Junior/Sub-Mod like the rest of their wave.

Team Wars

Infighting in the Mod Team

One of the most important pieces of drama in the early Moderator Team history is that of the Team Wars. This represented a time of pure hostility between Teams, whether in competition or one-upping each other. Each of the four existing Supermoderators would end up attacking and causing conflict with each other in a variety of ways.

There are a dozen different arguments, but so only a few will be mentioned.

The Foursome in Moderator Chat

In the middle of a normal day, Ana (who is transgender) was purposefully attacked by SkotKeller when Ana asked Skot to refer to her by her desired pronouns. SkotKeller attacked Ana in that chat, with majority of existing moderators telling Skot to chill the fuck out. Skot's arguments were the usual shit-tier arguments that come from a (at the time) controversial topic like desired pronouns, asking that everyone refer to him as a "God" if he can choose his own pronouns. It wasn't until PatPeter intervened and put Skot down on the ground.

This however, did not end the argument as Budda Kream and 11 Corgis would jump in and start to say that one side was mistreated one way or the other. This led to PatPeter losing what should've been a lovely afternoon with BooBooBear to handle bullshit drama.

Skot's False Accusations

After the Foursome, Skot was still livid that Pat essentially told him to fuck off alongside the other supermoderators. So, Skot decided that he'd make Ana's boytoy, Sentinel Blue's life a living hell at the time. This series of events would start with Skot attacking Sentinel and threatening him with demotion for seemingly nothing when Sentinel would be streaming on the SCP:SL servers. In fact, this would be a back and forth issue while Sentinel Blue was in his trialship as a moderator.

This would eventually end in December of 2019 (when Sentinel was a moderator and Skot was no longer affiliated with SCP), where Skot decided to attack Sentinel's religion on Christmas Day. It was at this time that Sentinel told SkotKeller, politely but firmly, to fuck off. However, history wouldn't remember this as Sentinel would end up accepting SkotKeller into Alpha Team in June of 2019.

Budda and Ana's Dick Measuring Contest

Budda and Ana were constantly at odds with each other over opposite values. One may liken it to the Democractic and Republican parties of America, but with SCP Teams and Supermoderators. This game of one-upping each other would consist of posting better porn in a channel that never existed, shit-talking each other behind the other's back, and more importantly, the insane amount of sexual frustration that both had towards each other (just a joke, but in all seriousness, they just needed to hate-fuck and it'd be over with.)

The Golden Wave

The Golden Wave is one of the most impactful waves in the Moderator Team's history, and more importantly, in the SCP:SL Saga.

On December 31st, 2019, the Golden Wave would be promoted to trials and would be the epitome of the best and worst moderators that came from the Golden Age. In fact, this wave has the most banned members and highest amount of future supermoderators in a single wave. This wave would consist of Dotspecific, Relapze, Praetor, Chump, Arithia, Drink, Killermate, and Quantumstrike.

The Golden Wave's main perpetrators would be Relapze and Arithia, but more can be found on their respective pages. Arithia's removal from the Moderator Team showcased the ineffectiveness of current Supermoderators and established brand new moderators in April of 2019, with LostInMyThoughts taking over Beta Team and Sentinel Blue taking over Delta Team.

Second Age of Admins

End of the Saga

The SCP:SL Saga was often considered one of the golden ages of Unigamia, with a massive influx of both new players, members, and permanent leaders in the community. In fact, many of the people who would be leaders in latter sagas such as Shadoyama, dont@me, and Clashknight90 would be members of this moderator team.
